Other Adoptable Animals

Occasionally, we will have other small animals available for adoption at the Porter County Animal Shelter. The types of small animals could include rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, cockatoos, parrots, parakeets and reptiles.

As with all other animals, an approved adoption application will be required before you can adopt. The adoption fee for other small animals is $25. You can download our adoption application by clicking on the Download icon below.

Because it happens so infrequently, you normally will not find our other small animals on our Petfinder page. Instead, we will post their availability on our Facebook page. Be sure to LIKE our Facebook page or you can scan the page below.
